Web design and development is fairly complex process, because of this we want you to have an understanding of the process, so you will know what to expect from us throughout the project lifecycle.
Once the requirements are documented, we can determine if there is a need to use additional technical professionals to ensure that the functional back-end requirements are met. Then, we plan the site structure and framework on which your Website will be built. This is called Information Architecture and User Interface design. We organize the flow of information with the intended functionality; this is essential for successful usability of your Website.
Next, comes the Visual Design process. We create prototypes of the User Interface to demonstrate the site structure. These visuals can be simple wireframes or static visuals. This is much more than making the Website "pretty". A good designer is able to lead the user through all of the information and functionality, as we intend for them to use it. We also ensure that the site requirements, functionality, and site architecture all work together; ensuring an easy-to-use customer experience.
Once the prototypes are approved, the design is broken down into html and the web development team develops the back-end functionality.
